    Pinecrest Academy in Cumming, GA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of High School Principal starting in the 2018-2019 academic year. The principal is responsible for creating and facilitating a safe environment conducive to quality teaching and learning, fostering a community of faith and learning based on Gospel values and Catholic teaching, supervising faculty and staff, and maintaining a close relationship with the Lower and Middle School Principals to ensure that policies and procedures are carried out in an efficient and uniform manner across the entire school.   • High School Math Teacher

    Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA) is seeking positive, enthusiastic, and engaging teacher applicants to fill the position of High School Math Teacher beginning in the 2018-2019 academic year.

    At a minimum, candidates must:
    • Hold a degree in Mathematics,
    • Hold a valid teaching certificate,
    • Have experience in teaching Math at the high school or collegiate level,
    • Demonstrate ability to teach all levels of Math ranging from Algebra 1 through Calc BC,
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills
    • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate sound moral character and initiative, Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of curriculum development and program evaluation,
    • organization of the content field, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning,
    • Exhibit enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community,
    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary,
    • Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and instruction.
