Pinecrest Academy Summer Camps are Open to All – Tell your Family & Friends!

Welcome! Our camps build virtue, confidence and friendships while teaching new skills in a fun, safe environment. We offer sports camps and specialty camps for children ages 5 and up. All camp counselors have undergone background checks and our camp directors are CPR certified.

Our summer camps serve children in Atlanta and surrounding areas, including Roswell, Alpharetta, Cumming, Duluth, Milton, Sugar Hill and Johns Creek. Check back soon for the 2020 listing.

  • Babysitter Bootcamp

  • Camp Altius

    (K-6th Grade) June 22-26 & July 13-17, 9am-3pm, $225/week
    Camp Altius is a camp for kids who want to make friends and have fun. We play games, hike in the woods, sing songs, make crafts and end every day with popsicles and a big water game. Camp Altius will be the adventure of your child's summer time.   • Driver’s Ed

    (Ages 15-16) June 8-12, July 13-17, 9am-3:30pm, description to come
  • Dungeons and Dragons

    (Ages: 11 - 15) June 8-12 & July 6-10, 9am - 3pm, $200/week
    Dungeons and Dragons Summer Camp is designed to offer campers a social experience like none other. Let’s unplug the devices for a few hours and work on our creative thinking, creativity, basic mathematics and social skills. The campers must coordinate and engage with other campers to complete adventures and most importantly have fun while playing the world’s most popular RPG Dungeons and Dragons. Dice included.   • Star Wars: Galaxies Edge

    (6th-12th Grade) June 15-19, 9am-3pm, $225/week
    Star wars: Explore the Star Wars universe in the Star Wars pen and paper RPG. You and your friends will take on the roles of bounty hunter, smuggler, and diplomat in order to make your way in a galaxy far far away. Fee: $225; Location: High School Building.   • Summertime Fun Camp

    (Ages 5-10) June 8-12 & July 6-10, 9am-3pm, $200/week
    A fun filled kids camp where your child is bound to have a blast! Daily activities include: playground time, soccer and basketball, gym games, outdoor hikes, scavenger hunt, daily water games including a slip and slide & water balloons, fun crafts to take home, kid friendly movies and more.   • Warhammer 40k

    (6th-12th Grade) June 22-26, 9am-3pm, $225/week
    Warhammer: War calls, will you answer?! Led the forces of the Imperium of Man against the brutal Ork, the cunning Eldar, and the evil forces of Chaos.   • Coach V's Sports Performance Camp

    (K-6th Grade) July 20-24, 9am - 3pm, $225
    This skill development camp is designed for kids to come out and get some conditioning, agility, develop hand and eye coordination and other motor skills. We will work on running, jumping and strength.We will have some fun games and prizes! A T-shirt and cheese pizza each day are included in the registration price. (Please provide your own lunch if your child has any allergies to cheese pizza.)   • Junior Paladin Cheer Clinic

    (1st-5th Grade) July 20-24, 9am-Noon
    Learn the basics of cheer from our Varsity Cheerleaders, create crafts, and even perform a routine on the last day!
  • Lady Paladin Basketball Camp

    (Ages 6-14) June 8-12, 9am - 3pm, $200
    The Pinecrest Academy Varsity Girls Basketball Coaching Staff and Varsity players are hosting our Lady Paladin Basketball camp. Each day will include an emphasis on footwork, ball handling, shooting and fun. We will have daily skills contests as well as live 3on3 and 5on5 games. Players will be grouped by age and ability. This will be a great place for players looking to develop skills, participate in competitive games, and have fun with new friends. We hope to see you this summer!   • NIKE Basketball Camp

    (Ages 9-15) May 26-29, 9am-3pm, $245
    This camp will focus on individual skill development with our three morning stations: Individual Skill Development, 3on3 ELITE League and Classroom/Video. Each camper will play in one 5on5 game and also participate in our national Living by Numbers contests each day. This summer camp is a perfect way to prepare for your school, church, rec or AAU season. All NIKE basketball camps maintain a player to coach ratio of 8:1 and are staffed by high school and college coaches as well as college and pro players. This camp is limited to the first 96 boys that register and is for ages 9-15 (entering grades 4th-9th). The camp fee is $245 per player. This camp will sell out quickly so make sure to register early. Each player will receive a NIKE camp T-shirt, NIKE skill workbook, NIKE camp certificate, and a hand written evaluation from the coaching staff.   • Pinecrest Girls Middle School Volleyball Camp

    (5th-8th Grade) July 20-24, 9am-Noon, $150
    If you want to learn more about the wonderful sport of volleyball while having a blast, this camp is for you! Campers will learn the basics of passing, setting, hitting, and serving.   • Pinecrest Paladin Basketball Camp

    Boys & Girls (Ages 6-13) June 8-11, 9am - 3pm, $200
    Join Head Boys’ Coach John Bauersfeld (Coach JB) for fun-filled days of learning and competition on the basketball court. The camp will include fundamental instruction, shooting and dribbling competitions everyday where campers can earn prizes. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, and athletic clothes and shoes. Snacks will be available for purchase throughout the day.

    Coach JB has been running basketball camps for over 20 years but this is only his second year doing it at Pinecrest. Coach JB and the Paladins went to the Elite 8 in the GHSA tournament this year. Over his career he has coached over 30 college players and 5 players who have gone on to play at the professional level.
  • Pinecrest Soccer Academy

    (Ages 5-12) June 15-19, 9am-Noon, $125
    Coach Kane’s camp will teach the fundamentals of soccer. Players will work on ball skills, shooting techniques, and small-sided games. Every day will end with a competition or a match. Campers will be learning new skills and improving their current skills. Soccer camp is always a great experience so please come out and join us!   • ABC Easel Art Camp

    Our Philosophy: We are passionate about enriching the lives of children through our unique curriculum that incorporates historical artists, special holidays, cultural events from around the world and an exciting Storybook Art approach for young children.   • Boys Out of this World Creative Writing Camp

    Pinecrest Academy presents a new Summer Scribes Creative Writing Camp for boys! Aspiring young space-writers will fuel their rocket ships with creative juices as we take on aliens and adventures from the depths of the galaxy! Our goals will be to build confidence, improve composition skills, and devise fantastic futuristic stories. Small group size ensures lots of individual attention.   • Camp Energy Performing Arts

    (Ages 5-12), June 15-19, 9am-3pm, $215
    Camp Energy is a high energy performing arts camp for performers ages 5-12.   • Culinary Arts Camp

    (3rd-8th Grade) June 1-5, June 8-12, June 15-19, 9am-3pm, $250/week
    Each consecutive day is filled with a lot of information, hands on instruction, and finally team preparation of the daily cooking activity. Plenty of tasting, learning, and fun. Day1: food safety/kitchen orientation/knife skills. Cooking activity: cookies. Day 2: quick-breads such as muffins, pancakes, and donuts. Cooking Activity: homemade
 donuts. Day 3: grilling and chilling with meats, poultry, and veggies. Cooking activity: stuffed hamburgers with fresh buns. Day 4 pizza and pasta. Cooking activity: making scratch pizza and homemade pasta. Day 5: authentic mexican. Cooking activity: homemade

  • Girls Art & Science Camp

    (1st–5th Grade) June 1-5, 9am-Noon, $160
    Elementary age girls will have a blast at this colorful and creative summer camp, where art and science meet. Using different materials such as watercolor paints, paper maché and pastels, the girls will create beautiful works of art. On the science side, we'll conduct several experiments using fun materials such as candy and eggs and we'll explore chemistry through the creation of different slimes.   • Kaleidescope of Fun Girls Creative Writing Camp

    Pinecrest Academy presents a new Summer Scribes Creative Writing Camp for girls! Our colorful tale spinners will create fantastic characters and brilliant scenery for vivid stories of mystery and adventure. Our goals will be to find our ‘voice’, build writing confidence, and refine composition skills. This will be a small group class with lots of individual feedback.     The Pinecrest Academy Summer Music Camp is an enriching five day musical experience offering students an opportunity to grow musically in a fun yet educational learning environment. During this time, students rehearse with a quality conductor, meet other musicians from other schools in our community, and perform a concert on the final evening. Location: Middle Band Room.   • Chess Camp

    Does your child love Minecraft, Frozen, Star Wars, or all of the above? Join Mr. Q's coding and STEM camp to create and run your own mini-games. Throughout the week we will learn some basics of coding and create these exciting games. Campers will also compete to see who can design, build, and withstand numerous tests during our STEM activities while using drones provided! Weekly prizes awarded!   • Rocketry and Aeronautics Camp

  • Challenge Girls Summer Camp

    (Rising 5th-9th Grade) June 8-12, South Carolina, $550
    ECYD Challenge Summer Camp is a great opportunity for young girls to grow in their faith and in their values while having a great time and getting to know girls from different Challenge clubs of the area. Non-Challenge members are also welcomed at this camp!
  • ECYD Boys Adventure Camp

    (Ages 5-13) June 8-12, $275
    Join us for 5 days of an overnight ECYD Adventure Camp in Covington GA, full of sports, prayer, team competitions, theatrics, sacraments, and formation talks. The epic Atlantan story will be picking up where it left off last summer! Email Father Patrick: poloughlin@pinecrestacademy.org.

Summer Camp Before/After Care

Pinecrest will be offering Beforecare and Aftercare options for all summer campers this year! Our summer camp coordinators will escort each camper to and from their camps. They will be located in the Lower School Gym when it is available, otherwise campers will go to a classroom on campus. Pinecrest has three options to offer this summer:

Before and Aftercare take place every week and are open to all children that attend our camps.
