The Spring post-season is in full swing, as our teams have earned tournament spots across the board.
Here's a recap of all the good news by sport:
Golf
Tim Nguyen earned a spot in the state golf tournament (5/5), shooting a 74 at regionals, and securing the region championship.
Varsity Tennis
The girls tennis team won the region tournament and advanced to state (4/28 & 4/29). Individually for the boys, Eddie Bai and doubles pair, Sam Ansley and Henry Schafer, also advanced to state (4/28).
Middle School Tennis
Both boys and girls will compete in the state tournament on 4/28.
Baseball
The boys secured the region championship and will begin the playoffs 4/25 in a doubleheader vs Skipstone at home at 1:15pm and 4:45pm.
Varsity Soccer
Both boys and girls won their regions and secured top seeds in the state tournament. This results in a first round bye this week. Both teams will host second round games on Tuesday, 4/29.
Middle School Soccer
Both teams won their first round playoff games and have traveled to their second round opponents today.
Lacrosse
The girls will wrap up their regular season this week and will begin playoffs on 5/6. Senior Reggie Ross reached her 200 career goal.
Track
The regular season has concluded and six athletes will represent Pinecrest in the state meet on Saturday, 4/26. Congratulations to Caroline Washburn, Natalie Bonwit, Alisa Biondo, Lexi Coury, Seve Rohlen and Jake Roth on their qualifying marks.
