Andres Perez to be Honored By Braves 400 Fan Club

The top high school baseball players in metro Atlanta will be honored at the Braves 400 Fan Club’s Annual High School All-Star Luncheon on May 31st, at Turner Field’s 755 Club.  Jonathan SchuerholzAssistant Director for Player Development of the Atlanta Braves, will be the guest speaker.

The 2016 Player of The Year and Coach of the Year will be announced at the end of the luncheon, as well as the Pete Van Wieren Most Outstanding High School Baseball Program of the Year Award.
 
Beginning with Pete Ladd in 1974, dozens of our honorees have made it to the Major Leagues.  Some of our High School All-Stars currently in the majors include Jeff Francoeur, Brian McCann, Dexter Fowler and Zack Wheeler.  Last year’s Player of the Year, Tyler Stephenson, was the 11th overall draft pick by the Cincinnati Reds.
