  • Kristen Rocko '14 Earns M.Ed

    Kristen Rocko ’14 graduated from the University of Cincinnati in August 2022 with an M.Ed in supporting students with complex needs with a focus in autism. She will apply her knowledge and research at her new position with Mill Springs Academy in Milton, GA as a 3rd grade teacher. Her expertise in differentiating instruction will benefit students she is working with who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia, processing disorders, and high-functioning autism. Kristen thanks Pinecrest Academy for all their efforts in preparing her for rigorous coursework and academic success, so she can now educate students and help them reach their full potential!
  • Ivey Crain Named "Most Dominant Girl Soccer Player"

    A recent article in the Forsyth County News named recent Pinecrest Academy graduate, Ivey Crain, the most dominant girl soccer player in the country:

    "Ivey Crain's quickness to dash in front of her opponents to notch 61 goals, and her clutch gene to laser in the game-winning to win the Class 1A Private state championship for the program’s first title makes her the most dominant girl soccer player in the county.

    Crain’s mix-match problem on the field earned her the Forsyth County News Girls Soccer Player of the Year, and the athletic aspects of Crain’s game landed her the Forsyth County News Girls Athlete of the Year.

    “It was great. I was not expecting it to be me. I know there are some people that deserve that honor. I just felt so humbled. Honestly, it’s the biggest accomplishment I received in my entire life, and I couldn’t have done it without every single little person in my life. ” Crain said.

    A two-time all-state selection, Crain amassed 155 career goals during her career in a Paladins uniform. "

  • Ivey Crain Named Athlete of the Year

    In addition to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team winning the Class 1A Private State Championship, the Paladins' Ivey Crain leaves an immensely impressive mark in Pinecrest Academy’s soccer history books!

    Ivey was named Region 6 Player of the Year, in addition to being named to the All Region First Team.

    Ivey was also named the Forsyth County News Girls Athlete of the Year, following a season during which she scored 61 goals and lead the Paladins to a 1-0 win against Holy Innocents' in the state championship – PA’s first team GHSA title.

    Ivey was among athletes honored at the FCN’s annual Athlete of the Year Banquet on May 19 at Beaver Toyota in Cumming. The top high school athletes in each sport were recognized, along with Ivey and the Boys Athlete of the Year, Ethan Ashley.

  • Evan Kane Signs with Rhodes College

    Senior Evan Kane signed on April 21, 2022, to continue his soccer career at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. He will join his brother, Brendan Kane, who is a sophomore at Rhodes and also a member of the soccer team. Congratulations to Evan on this impressive accomplishment!
  • Pinecrest Academy to Host a Variety of Summer Camps

    Pinecrest Academy has been hosting Summer Camps for more than 20 years. Besides being fun, our camps build virtue, confidence, and friendships, while teaching new skills in a safe, Christian, loving environment. A variety of camps are offered for children ages 5 and up. All camp counselors undergo background checks, and our camp directors are CPR certified.
