Varsity Girls Lax Team Faces Westminster in First Playoff Game - May 7

It has been a record season for our Varsity Girls Lacrosse team. They are currently 14 and 3, and their first play-off game is slated for Monday, May 7, against The Westminster School. The girls have had a phenomenal season, with every player contributing to the score.

The determination of the seniors, being the driving force on the team, has led to many of their wins. The team has nine senior girls with a strong desire to take the team as far as they can go. Their lead scorer is Molly Dankowski, who made her 100th goal for the year in the last regular season game. Followed by Molly is Alex Tilkin, who is enjoying a sensational season after being out for over a year with an ACL injury. These young ladies have many years of lacrosse experience and inspire the team toward goals they want to achieve.

The Lady Paladins have become a force on the field, really working together to get everyone to score. Ella Binkley leads the team in assists this year and will be one to watch next year, along with Nika Brown.

A few of the girls had never played lacrosse until this year, and many have only played in high school. The team is continually facing teams with many year-round club players or athletes committed to play in college. Our smaller Paladins team and the lack of year-round players has not deterred this fabulous group of athletes from giving it their all in every game. Way to go Lady Paladins!
