Paladins Strike Down the Competition in First Tournament of the Year

This past Saturday the Paladin Fencing team traveled to Centennial High School in Roswell to compete in the first tournament of the season.
Pinecrest had two ladies competing on Saturday, Kelsey Bingham and Nicole Chai. Kelsey finished the tournament in 41st place and Nicole finished in 12th place. Nicole is currently ranked 23rd in state out of 97 ladies.
On the men's side, six Paladins represented the Green and Gold. Sebastian Leopoldo finished 67th, Michael Lynch 51st, Thomas Ansley 43rd, Josiah Jones 21st, Cristobal Uzura 20th, and Marty Wehner finished in 6th place. Marty is currently ranked tied for 11th in state out of 149 men.
Congratulations to the Paladin fencers in their first Varsity season. The Paladins will next travel to Alpharetta High School on October 3rd.
