Class of 2024: Ready to Transform Society

Congratulations to our newest Pinecrest Academy alumni, the Class of 2024!
Graduation is always a joyful time, as we mark the milestone of another class of Pinecrest seniors.  Excellence is one of our core values, and this class showed us what excellence is all about!

The Integer Award is the highest honor a Pinecrest Academy graduate can achieve. "Integer" comes from a 16th century Latin word meaning "whole." This award is given to one boy and one girl who have each consistently demonstrated exceptional characteristics of leadership and apostleship, assimilating the highest ideals of all areas of formation: intellectual, human, spiritual and apostolic. This year's Integer Award Winners are:

For Academic formation, Pinecrest recognizes students with the highest grade point average. The highest academic average is recognized as Valedictorian and the second highest as Salutatorian. Our Valedictorian and Salutatorian are:

The AJC Cup is awarded to one distinguished graduate in every high school in Georgia. Nominated and chosen by school administration, this award is for a student who excels and shows leadership in community activities, arts, athletics, and academics. This year’s AJC Cup Award recipient is:

The Bernadette McCabe Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates the true qualities of a great nurse, including compassion, empathy, understanding, patience, and putting the needs of others ahead of their own. The scholarship recipient is:

The Head of School Scholarship recognizes a student who has demonstrated great humility in leadership and service to his peers. Pinecrest Academy recognizes the hallmark of a Christian leader is the virtue of humility. This year’s award goes to:

The Joseph R. Grimaldi Courage Award was introduced to honor a Pinecrest alumnus from the Class of 2008. Joe’s fight with cancer was met with faith, strength of character, and an amazing smile. This year, the award goes to:

Loránt and Vilma Görögy Pallos Scholarship Award honors graduating seniors who plan to study science, engineering or another STEM field. Recipients of the honor possess a deep faith, curiosity of mind, and talent that will help them as a Christian leader to transform society. This year, the award goes to:

The May Crowning tradition, where we place a crown of flowers on the statue of Mary, has been part of our school’s history since the very beginning. The honor of crowning Mary is bestowed on the young woman who stands out as an example in the areas of integral formation and also demonstrates the virtues of our Blessed Mother. The honor went to:
