“Keep Christ in Christmas” Draws Hundreds

More than 400 vehicles from our local community visited Pinecrest Academy for Keep Christ in Christmas on Sunday, December 13.
The free community event was a drive-through experience designed to prepare hearts for the birth of Jesus, and serve as a reminder of the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Exhibits included:

The Annunciation Re-enactment
Featuring the Angel Gabriel, Mary, and adorable fluttering angels

Visiting Saint Nicholas
Accompanied by friends giving away "Keep Christ in Christmas" car magnets and copies of the story of Saint Nicholas

Live Nativity
Four live animals in a life-like handcrafted stable with lights and a star on top, complete with Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, shepherds, and an angel

Live Christmas Music
Featuring Pinecrest’s Lower, Middle, and High School Bands

Pinecrest Carolers
Featuring students, parents, and alumni, singing Christmas favorites
Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Juan Diego Tribute
Re-enactment of the miracle of Our Lady's appearance to Juan Diego, along with guitar accompaniment

In addition to enjoying several displays, visitors received wrapped candy canes with the Legend of the Candy Cane included, Keep Christ in Christmas car magnets, Holy Cards, and a goody bag with chocolate "coins" and an invitation to Open House.
