Lunch Service Update - Online Ordering Available!

Greetings to our Pinecrest Community.
 
As we whole heartedly embrace decisions made by the leadership at Pinecrest Academy to begin our new school year with in-person instruction, the staff at ChrisHarwellCEC, LLC is diligently preparing for the return to school to ensure the health and efficacy of the Food Service Program.
 
As we return to campus, our staff will have appropriate protocols in place to screen for any health concerns for our staff each day. The well-being of all students, as well as the faculty and staff, is our highest priority.
 
If you have not taken advantage of the lunch program, please investigate the options and feel free to contact me with any questions.  Each option is wholesome, bridging the gap between taste and nutrition, and we strive to meet all of our allergy concerns as well.  Each item is “kid-approved” by my daughter who is in her sixth year at Pinecrest, beginning third grade next week!
 
We will have all of the menu items available, and items will be served hot and freshly prepared, as always. The main difference is that  items will be packaged in hinged lid to-go boxes, to further reduce the chance of contamination. 
 
Additionally, the salad bar in the Upper School will have all of the popular toppings available, packaged in individual containers, and the dressings will be provided in packets, thus eliminating the use of tongs and service wear that is touched repeatedly. 
 
Our staff will be working closely with our facilities team and the Forsyth County Department of Public Health to ensure that all areas are clean and sanitized to protect our students. 
 
The online ordering system is now available!  Here’s how to order lunch for your child:
 
1.     Log in to the Paladin Portal from the homepage of the Pinecrest website;
2.     Click the “Lunch Service” link on the resource page and set up an account;
3.     Proceed onto the site to place your order.
 
If you had credits remaining from last year, they will be available for purchases for the upcoming school year.  Although the CASH OPTION is currently not available due to health concerns, we will be able to have the option of ordering lunch items, beverages, and ice creams at the window, and then billing issued via PayPal on a monthly basis. This will provide as much flexibility for our customers as possible.
 
The staff and I look forward to being back on campus, and we stand behind the leadership and the community at Pinecrest Academy. Our prayers are with each of you and your families. Truly, it is our privilege to serve this community and to provide this crucial service to our school.
