The Quest Atlanta Catholic Radio to Debut “Crossed Wires”

Crossed Wires is a bold, 30-minute radio show on AM 1160 The Quest that brings the news into your faith life. Hosted by everyday Catholic Chris McDonald and Fr. Daniel Brandenburg, LC, it’s where headlines meet honest, unscripted conversations that help you make sense of what’s going on in the world — through the eyes of faith.

Casual, Candid, and Catholic Discussions
  • Timely conversations that matter: Chris brings up 3–4 recent news stories each week; Fr. Daniel shares spontaneous Catholic insights.
  • A format that feels like friends talking: No scripts. No sermons. Just a smart, back-and-forth dialogue between two people who see things from different but faithful perspectives.
  • Your voice in the mix: Got a question about something in the news?
Listeners will be able to submit questions or story ideas for future episodes.
  • Anytime access: Catch the show weekends on AM 1160 or listen anytime via podcast.
Crossed Wires Speaks Your Language
  • Puts a Catholic lens on today: When the headlines feel overwhelming, this show helps you process what’s happening through your faith.
  • Makes faith approachable: Big questions don’t require big words. You’ll hear ideas that are insightful, not intimidating.
  • Feels fresh and authentic: It’s a new kind of Catholic talk — relevant, courageous, and refreshingly unpolished.
