War Eagle Running Camp Open to Middle School Runners

Our Middle School runners have the opportunity to attend the War Eagle Running Camp hosted by Marist School! This week-long day camp in northern Atlanta will focus on the development of youth and middle school distance runners and track and field athletes ages 9-14.

With the addition of the throws, sprints, hurdles and jumps (no pole vault), all athletes of all abilities can be accommodated and will receive direction from the Marist Varsity Track and Field Staff. In the past nine years, Marist has had 15 cross country state championships, 3 cross country state runners up, 5 track and field championships, and 3 track and field runners up.

Set for the week of June 19-23, the camp will mix in training, drills, and educational breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics, while incorporating fun games to fill the camper’s days.  Each camper will learn the tools needed to equip them for success at the next level and beyond, while working on summer preperations. Counselors will include some of the best runners in the Atlanta area.
