Pinecrest Soccer Takes Down the Patriots!

The Pinecrest Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Area 6 rival Mt. Pisgah 4-2 on Tuesday in a game that was tight for most of the match. The Paladins started off the scoring with a great shot from Matt Bernet, but then Pisgah tied the game up before the end of the first half.
The second half started off with a Pisgah goal off a corner kick to put Pinecrest behind 2-1. Pinecrest then took control with goals by Gabe Villar and Gabe Avila to take the lead 3-2. The Paladins finished up the scoring on a penalty kick by Lucas Perez to seal the comeback win. The team goes up against Providence Christian in an away game on Tuesday, April 11th, and then will host Mt. Pisgah on Friday the 15th!
