Lower School Building

After years of learning in modular buildings, Lower School students and teachers had the great privilege of moving into a brand new permanent Lower School building in time for fall semester 2019.
Construction on the 18,000 square-foot, single level all brick building launched with a ground blessing and breaking ceremony in September 2018, thanks to the kindness and dedication of donors who responded so generously to our capital campaign. An anonymous $500,000 matching challenge grant was met with the generosity of over 60 Pinecrest families, along with a $500,000 gift from the Blanford family.
When construction was completed in the summer of 2019, a dedication and building blessing was held to debut the school’s opening in August 2019. The building houses 13 classrooms, a chapel, clinic, faculty lounge, offices, and a conference room.  Large picture windows in all of the classrooms provide a cheerful environment, and each classroom is spacious to accommodate hands-on learning and classroom activities.
