Margaret Frain, Formation Coordinator
Margaret Frain and her husband, Chris, have been a part of the Pinecrest Academy community since 1999, when they moved their large and growing family to Forsyth County, so their children could enroll at Pinecrest.
With such a large family, Margaret spent many years at home, tending to the needs of her husband and children, while volunteering regularly at her parish or school. Margaret graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Finance, but her love for the Catholic faith inspired her to serve in evangelizing ministries that focused on Bible studies or gospel reflections as a means to accompany others. Margaret has also served as a catechist at several parishes. In 2011, she accepted the position of Director of Youth Faith Formation at St. Brendan Catholic Church, where she helped manage programs for catechesis and sacramental preparation for more than 1,200 students. In 2015, she opted to accept a part-time role at Pinecrest, to refocus more time on her children. Since then, she has been flexible, working in the classroom or in administrative offices, based on the greatest needs of the school, each year. Margaret is very happy to be serving in Campus Ministry as Formation Coordinator. She considers it an honor to work in this little arm of the Church that strives to support the entire school community in its walk toward stronger, more effective Spiritual Formation.
