Lenny Forti, PreK-8th Grade Principal

Mr. Forti is from Buffalo, New York and was raised in an Italian Catholic family, along with three older sisters and a brother.
Mr. Forti comes to Pinecrest with over 30 years of experience in teaching and administration. His experience with the Fulton School System, which began in 1977, includes five years as an Elementary School Principal and several years as an Assistant Principal.

Mr. Forti received his Masters and Specialist degrees from Georgia State University in School Administration, and he is certified in School Leadership in Georgia. He has served on several leadership councils, including Leadership North Fulton Class 2009, with the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Forti attended Bishop Neumann High School in Williamsville, New York. His freshman year in college he attended Canisius College in Buffalo, New York (a Jesuit University). He graduated from The State University of New York at Brockport with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

Mr. Forti is married and has two grown daughters. His wife is a fifth grade teacher at a nearby school district. He enjoys reading, running, and playing golf in his free time.
