Father Daren Weisbrod, LC, High School Chaplain

Fr. Daren Weisbrod hails from Milan, Indiana and is the youngest son of four boys. He grew up playing sports of all kinds while holding great interest in music and theatre.
Fr. Daren entered the Legionaries of Christ when he was 19 after finishing his first year of studies at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, finding the answer to that interior voice calling him to something MORE. During his formation years, he studied in Rome, and completed internships in New Hampshire, New York, California, Florida, and finally in Novara, Italy. As a Priest he served as rector of Sacred Heart Apostolic School the Legion’s high school seminary in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. He just finished a four year assignment as the Legion’s Vocation Director based in Houston, Texas where he collaborated closely with campus ministry as spiritual director at Texas A&M, with the Texas Conquest directive team, and numerous parish youth ministry teams. Fr Daren is an enthusiastic priest, mentor, and brother who loves his vocation, and the souls he ministers to, and plays to win!
