Safe Fan Plan - Friday Night Football

Football season is in full swing, as our Varsity Paladins finished a three-game road trip. The Paladins are 4-1 on the season and are excited to return home for the next four weeks. This Friday night, October 9, we will square off against division rival Lanier Christian Academy at 7:30PM.

Our Athletics team has devised a plan to increase the number of fans we allow at each game, and we are excited to offer a limited number of student tickets to our Senior and Junior high school students. In order to make this happen, we have a very specific "Safe Fan Plan" we will implement.

Here are our home fan protocols for Friday, October 9.

FAMILIES OF THE ATHLETES

Members: Family members of participating athletes (This will include parents, siblings, grandparents and aunts, uncles, cousins). All attendees must be on the RSVP list sent out earlier this week. Please do not invite family friends.

Parking: Athlete families will park in the end zone lot at the field.

Admission: Admission is $8 per person and will be paid at the high school road gate. We will not be able to provide change. We can accept cash or check.

Fan Location: Tents - we will assign tents along the parking lot and wood rail end zone.

Protocol: All family members will be temperature screened upon arrival. All family members MUST wear a mask during screening to protect the screener. They must go through the screening checkpoint. We require that you remain in your tent area to promote family pod social distancing. We require that all children stay with you in your tent and that you do not allow them to play in the grass areas behind the concession stands. You must provide your own chairs. You are welcome to bring food and drinks for your tent. Please no alcohol.

STUDENTS

Members: We will offer 40 student tickets. Seniors will have the first option to purchase tickets. Any remaining tickets will be offered to the Juniors on a first-come, first served basis. We will not be able to accommodate sophomores or freshmen this week.

Parking: Students will park in the Lower School parking lot. Students must come to the field upon arrival. Please do not congregate in the parking lot. Enter through the high school road gate.

Admission: Admission is $8 per person. Tickets will be pre-sold during lunch Thursday. We will not be able to provide change. We can accept cash or check. Students must present their ticket and be checked in against the RSVP list at the gate.

Fan Location: In the main bleachers from the press box toward the restrooms.

Protocol: All students will be temperature checked at the gate. All students MUST wear a mask during screening. All students must remain in the stands and stay in their assigned, distanced area. All students will wear a mask throughout the game. We are aware this is tough, but our goal is to keep the students as safe as possible so we can return to school healthy.

Coach Coury thanks everyone ahead of time for sticking to the Safe Fan Plan. It is extremely important to our community to allow the students to attend. Our first priority is to keep everyone safe and healthy. To those families that might prefer sitting in the stands over a tent, we appreciate your sacrifice, as it allows us to safely welcome the students.
