Swim Team Makes History at State Prelims
The Pinecrest Swim Team had its best showing at State Meet preliminaries on Friday, February 8, at Georgia Tech!
Girls 200 Medley Relay set new Pinecrest record: Persichetti, Adams, Birozes, Meersman
Girls 200 Free Relay is currently second alternates for State Finals: Birozes, Adams, Meersman, Persichetti
Returning for State Finals on Saturday, February 9:
Anthony Birozes: 50 free - currently in 10th and set new Pinecrest record: 21.61
Anthony Birozes: 100 free - currently in 17th and set new personal record: 48.45
Mason Carter: 50 free - currently in 24th and set new personal record: 22.42
Boys 200 Free Relay: currently in 20th - Perez, Spillane, Carter, Birozes
Boys 400 Free Relay: currently in 14th - Perez, Spillane, Carter, Birozes - broke their own Pinecrest record by five seconds: 3:26.87
This year marks the most Pinecrest Swimmers to go to State in our school’s history!
