Pinecrest Athletics Names Heath Kennedy as New Baseball Coach

Pinecrest Athletics is pleased to announce Mr. Heath Kennedy as the Paladins’ new Varsity Baseball Head Coach. Coach Kennedy will also oversee the entire Pinecrest Baseball program.
 
He comes to Pinecrest Academy after serving as an assistant coach this past season at George Walton Academy. Coach Kennedy has 11 years’ experience as a Varsity Head Coach and has been very successful. He brings with him a career winning percentage of .699 and has led his teams to the State Playoffs eight of his 11 years as a head coach.
 
In 2011, Coach Kennedy led Hebron Christian to its first State Championship. He has also won four Region titles, made two Elite 8 and four Sweet 16 appearances. Coach Kennedy has been named Region Coach of the Year four times and State Coach of the Year once by the Georgia Dugout Club.
 
With 226 career wins as a Head Coach, Coach Kennedy has also helped over 30 players move on to play baseball collegiately or professionally.
