Great Start to PAC for 2018-2019 – Next Meeting May 14

Pinecrest Athletics hosted a very positive initial Pinecrest Athletic Club (PAC) meeting on Tuesday, April 24, with over 50 families representing almost every athletic program. Now the work begins! The next PAC meeting is slated for Monday, May 14, in the Upper School Dining Hall. At this meeting, Athletics will finalize nominations and voting on Board positions. PAC needs representation from all sports at all levels. Athletics will be collecting nominations and volunteers for the different positions. If you would like to nominate  someone or volunteer for a position, please email Susan Hayes, shayes@pinecrestacademy.org with name and position.
 
The following Board positions will have a commitment to be at all monthly Board meetings, and will require nominations and be voted on at the May 14 meeting:

Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Membership Director
Fall Sports Director
Winter Sports Director
Spring Sports Director
 
The following volunteer positions will attend Board meetings as needed, and will require regular reports to the Athletic Director or Assistant:
 
Awards & Banquet Director
Concessions Director
Uniform Coordinator
Program/Advertising Chairperson
Reserved Seating Chairperson
Fundraising Chair (Tennis/Golf Tournament)
Parking Director
Boss Hog - Pig Roast Chairman
 
Please consider serving in one of the above positions and/or serving on one of the committees for the Pinecrest Athletic Club, which is established to provide benefit to the youth of Pinecrest Academy, in any manner authorized by Pinecrest Academy, and to promote the development of strong Christian character, a right attitude, and a sense of responsibility and citizenship in youngsters, using athletics as a vehicle to form student athletes.
