Silver Anniversary Gala a Stunning Success

The Pinecrest Academy Gala Team extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire community for your support of the Silver Anniversary Gala, celebrating our twenty-fifth year of educating minds, hearts, and souls.
The PA family rallied to donate amazing auction items, bought thousands of raffle tickets, sponsored tables, helped to set up the event, and whole-heartedly showed up for this amazing event in so many beautiful ways.

On Saturday, April 21, attendees celebrated the past…and all the miracles that brought Pinecrest through its 25 years…by honoring founding couple, Arlene and John Gannon, who also served as Honorary Chairs and keynote speakers.

Pinecrest alumni were proudly represented by speaker, Mary Frain ’10, and so many beloved alumni, who joined the community for the Gala.

The Silver Anniversry celebration was one of the most successful Galas ever, as the "Fund the Cause" portion of the evening raised $150,000 for the new Lower School Building.

Pinecrest also received an additional gift of $500,000 from Lynn and Lawrence Blanford, who have a granddaughter in PreK3. These generous benefactors addressed Gala attendees with their touching story and their desire to help make our Lower School building a reality.

As Board member Mark Doxtader stated during the Gala, "We WILL build the new Lower School, and it WILL be soon!" Everyone at Pinecrest is so humbled and grateful for the outpouring of generosity that has been bestowed upon this school we all love.

Many thanks to the Gala Committee for your tireless dedication to this event. It could not have been possible without each and every volunteer. "Many joyful hands make light work!"
