Wind Symphony Wows Audiences at National Band Festival
The Pinecrest Academy Wind Symphony had the honor of performing at the US Bands National Concert Band Festival in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
US Bands is one of the largest and most respected organizations for the performing arts, and Verizon Hall is one of the most renowned and acoustically sound halls in all the world.
The band performed five pieces, including a world premiere, and were adjudicated by some of the top college band directors in the country.
Although this event was not scored nor rated, the critiques were very positive. One judge commented on his sheet "Phenomenal! I want even more!!! They are awesome!"
