Students Donate $1,900 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Pinecrest is always delighted to witness Christian servant leadership in action, and this year’s junior class IGNITE teams stepped up to the plate with beautiful service projects!
The boys' Volleytage IGNITE team coordinated the high school Volleytage tournament and raised $1,900 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The boys presented a check to Mr. Chris Beck, Senior Philanthropic Advisor with St. Jude’s, on April 18, 2018.
As a thank you for the boys’ fundraising efforts and generous donation, Mr. Beck presented St. Jude's promotional t-shirts to each member of the IGNITE team.
Members of the 2017-2018 IGNITE Volleytage team include: Nick Miller (President), Robert Binkley, Jimmy Dinsmore , Ryan Difazio, Brenden Ehle, Patrick O’Rourke, Peter Hoover, Michael Tropea, Matthew Savage, Colby Mangan, Bosco Sanchez-Mejorada, Kane Alvarez Del Pino.
Faculty advisors for the Volleytage team are Mr. Chris Kane and Mr. Brian Hoyer.
