Fifth Graders Creating Movie Trailers with iMovie
Pinecrest Academy fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Kelley, is working on an innovative project with her students this year.
Instead of writing a traditional book report, students are using iMovie to make movie trailers of both picture books and chapter books. Students start with a paper story board, and then find images and video clips that illustrate what they are trying to capture in their movies, and then they create!
Once the fifth graders’ movie trailers are done, the younger Lower School students will be able to watch them to find new books they may be interested in reading!
