Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team Holds Jersey Night

Pinecrest’s Varsity Girls Lacrosse team held its Jersey Night ceremony on Tuesday evening, February 20, in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel. Jersey Night is a beautiful and unique ceremony, during which dads present their daughters with their game jerseys for the season. Each dad takes a moment to tell his daughter how much he loves her, that he is proud of her, and then shares a virtue (or virtues) that he sees in his daughter.

 

This event is always so special for all of our Varsity athletes, and is a special bonding opportunity for young ladies and their fathers.

 

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse Jersey Night was bittersweet, as it was the final Jersey Night for our nine senior players.
