PA Alumni Mission Day
On Saturday, June 3, 6 Pinecrest alums: Kelsey McDonald '2011, Catherine Ann Birozes,'2016, Brenda Gutierrez, Nicole Madda, '2014, Natalie Parr, '2017, Katherine Tropea '2015, headed to 7Bridges Homeless Ministry in Atlanta, along with Siobhan O'Connor, CRC, who organized the mission.
The day started with 8:30 Mass at St. Brendan's and breakfast at Waffle Restaurant before the afternoon outreach. The day consisted of handing out sack lunches to needy brothers and sisters at 5 different stops in the Bluff district. They also prayed with them as their stories of desperation, addiction and loneliness poured out. The core team at 7Bridges consists of former homeless men who are now committed to Christ and who actively pray for and work to aid the homeless population in downtown Atlanta. Many thanks to those who came out to serve! We hope to see more alums for future missions!
