Caitlin Gorman Wins Prestigious Art Awards

Pinecrest Academy senior, Caitlin Gorman, has won three Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

This competition is the most prestigious high school art competition in Georgia and the nation! Winning artworks were recognized by a panel of creative professionals as among the most outstanding works submitted across all the high school students in the State of Georgia.

Caitlin won a Golden Key for her cut paper, mixed media, and digital image image piece entitled “Recompose.”

Caitlin also received a Silver Key for her stunning “Metamorphosis” cut paper and digital photography piece.

And, she was also awarded an Honorable Mention for her digital photography entitled “Susceptibility.” All the Golden and Silver Key award winners are invited to have their work featured in an exhibition at SCAD.
