Former Pinecrest Student Makes Notre Dame Band
Former long-time Pinecrest student, Sam Gutierrez made it into the Notre Dame Band of the Fighting Irish.
Sam played in the Pinecrest Band under the direction of Mr. Insalaca, Pinecrest's Band Director, during his many years here, and despite a move to California to finish out his high school career at a school with no band, he still made the Notre Dame Band!
His mother attributes this incredible accomplishment to Mr. Insalaca for “planting the seed for the love of music and band, and for leading the way to Sam’s dream.” Congratulations to Sam!
