Jay Lynch, PreK-8th Grade Dean of Students
Jay Lynch is the PreK-8th Grade Dean of Students and the Junior Paladins Athletics Director.
As Dean of Students, Mr. Lynch is passionate about student formation and is integrally involved with the virtue development program and student leadership opportunities. He also serves as the High School Boys Basketball Coach.
Mr. Lynch graduated from the University of Dallas (TX) with a degree in Catholic Theology, and has pursued graduate studies in Business Administration. Prior to joining Pinecrest, Mr. Lynch worked in collegiate admissions. He served as an admission officer at his alma mater, the University of Dallas, before moving on to serve as the Director of Admission, at both Salem International University (WV) and Southern Catholic College (GA).
Mr. Lynch joined Pinecrest Academy in the Fall of 2005 as the High School College Counselor. He worked in the high school for 12 years in various capacities, including Theology teacher, Dean of Students, and Varsity Basketball Coach.
Mr. Lynch and his wife, Michelle, have been married since 1997 and have seven children. Hank, Oscar, John, Michael, and Molly currently attend Pinecrest Academy. Their two oldest children, JT and Maddie, both graduated from Pinecrest Academy and both currently attend the University of Georgia.
