Campus Ministry

Pinecrest Academy is part of a global network of Regnum Christi Catholic schools.  Regnum Christi (Latin for “Kingdom of Christ”) is a Federation within the Catholic Church, comprised of four vocations: priests (Legionaries of Christ), lay consecrated women, lay consecrated men, and lay members.

At our Catholic school, RC members serve a variety of roles as part of Campus Ministry and as integral members of our school as a whole. Legionary priests serve as school chaplains. Consecrated women serve as formators and are available to offer spiritual direction to parents, employees, and students. In fact, spiritual formation is central to life at Pinecrest, woven into even the simplest of activities. Teachers take opportunities to encourage our youngest Paladins at lunch time or during a game of soccer on the playground.

Priests and consecrated women find ways to speak into the lives of students and parents, and coaches model Christian virtues on the playing fields and courts.  Students have the privilege of attending all-school mass, receiving the sacraments, and slipping into the chapel for some time alone with God.

Excellence in Catholic education, both academic and spiritual, is our goal, working hand-in-hand with our mission to form Christian leaders who will transform society.  Campus Ministry plays a pivotal role in helping us achieve this noble mission.
