CUMMING -- East Hall was swept in a tri-match for the first this season falling to Pinecrest Academy and Fellowship Christian Tuesday.

The Lady Vikings (10-7) fell to host Pinecrest in two games 25-14, 25-21 in the opening match and then lost in three games to Fellowship Christian 32-34, 25-14, 25-19.

The lady vikings are now 10-7 on the season. Team stats for the night are as follows:

Brittney Cambell had seven assists and 11 digs, Kara Hix added four kills, 27 digs and two assists, and Emily Hoggard had five kills, 14 digs and two blocks for East Hall. Tarryn Long had nine kills, two assists and six digs and Latisha Shelton paced the defense with 36 digs.

Sydney Farley 11 digs and two assists and Emily Roberts had three kills and three blocks for the Lady Vikings.

East Hall next will travel Tallulah Falls on Thursday.
