The Board of Directors is a lay body entrusted with the task of defining and implementing policies, ensuring effective planning, overseeing the school's financial resources, preserving the school's legal and ethical integrity, evaluating the performance of the head of school, and enhancing the school's public standing.
The Board consists of 9 men and 3 women who are business leaders and active members of the Pinecrest community. They are chosen for their knowledge, experience, and general ability to assist the school in achieving its mission.
HEAD OF SCHOOL FR. ROBERT PRESUTTI, LC
Fr. Robert was ordained a priest of the Congregation of the Legionaries of Christ in Rome in 1998. He holds a licentiate in Philosophy from the Gregorian University and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum, both located in Rome. For the last nine years, Fr. Robert has held the position of President of the University of Sacramento in Sacramento, CA. Prior to his assignment at the University of Sacramento, he worked in the Legion territorial directorate as assistant for schools and apostolates. In this role, he served as the founding director of the National Consultants for Education, the institution that develops the curriculum and methodology for all Legion schools in the United States. While in Sacramento, he was actively engaged in teaching in the Scripture Institute of the Diocese of Sacramento. Fr. Robert serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Psychological Sciences, a Catholic graduate school of psychology in Arlington, VA. Fr. Robert was born in the Abruzzi region of Italy. He moved to the United States when he was very young and grew up in Chicago. Fr. Robert has a proven track record of excellence in education.
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD DOUG TOLLETT
Retired Commercial Real Estate Developer • Co-Founder and President of American Resurgens Management Corp., an Atlanta based real estate development company • Founder and President of Douglas Management Company, a Houston based real estate management company.
Doug and his wife Brenda are longtime supporters of Pinecrest Academy. Beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, three of their grandchildren are enrolled in the school: Julianna in 8th grade, Grace in 3rd grade, and Matthew in PreK-4. Matthew’s dad, Mark Tollett, has been the construction manager on the Chapel and currently on the Lower School Activities Building. The Tolletts are members of St. Brigid Catholic Church.
MITCH BERNET
Partner/Owner of Cloud FX, assisting enterprises in researching and implementing best in class solutions for cloud computing, network, VoIP, and collaboration • Guest lecturer at Georgia Tech. Mitch attended Providence College undergraduate and holds a master’s in finance from Creighton University.
Mitch has served as a member of the President’s Council and has taken the parent lead in helping to establish the GOAL Program to provide financial aid to students coming to Pinecrest from the public sector. Mitch and his wife Rosanna have two children who have attended Pinecrest since pre-school: Matthew who is in 7th grade and Katherine who is in 4th. The Bernets are members of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church where Mitch serves as a Eucharistic Minister and a minister to the homebound.
BILL BROWN
Founding Partner, LGM3 LLC (dba My Social Wizard), an internet marketing services company •Owner, Georgia Home Hunters, property management company • Owner, WCB Properties LLC and numerous other real estate holdings companies • Retired Partner, Accenture LLP, Global Management Consulting Firm • Bill has an MBA from Purdue University and a B.S. in Accounting from Purdue University • Member of the President’s Council.
Bill and his wife Paige have been active members of the Pinecrest community for over ten years. They have served as PAPA Presidents (Pinecrest Academy Parents Association), and as volunteers for a myriad of events including the Pig Roast and Field Day. Their three children are Pinecrest students: Wills 7th, Nika 5th, and Stone 5th grade. The Browns attend St. Brendan’s Catholic Church where Bill serves as a Eucharistic Minister.
BRUCE CAMACHO
Principal and Owner of: Quo Vadis Advisors, LLC, a consultng company in the financuial services sector • 2000-2005 President and CEO of Assurant Group (Predecessor to Assurant Specialty Property and Assurant Solutions) • 2005-2009: CFO of Assurant, Inc.with direct line responsibility for all financial functions of the corporation both at headquartersand in all business unit • Over 30 years experience in the financial services industry in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and with two Fortune 500 companies. Bruce received a BS in Accounting from Florida State Uiversity.
Bruce and his wife Amy have six children: Andrew, Class of 2008; Bridget, Class of 2010; Nicole 12th grade, Luke 9th, Joseph 6th, and Gemma 4th. Bruce is a member of the school finance committee; working with the school Business Office reviewing financial policies, cost accounting, and financial reporting The family has been at Pinecrest for 13 years, and Bruce and Amy have served two terms as PAPA Presidents. The family attends St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.
MARK DOXTADER
Owner, Carton Craft Supply, Inc. and Impact Alliance, LLC • Member of the President’s Council. Mark received a business degree from Spring Hill.
Mark and his wife Angie have been long and active members of the Pinecrest community. In the fourteen years they have been affiliated with the school, they have served as both presidents and vicepresidents of the Parents Association. They have spearheaded volunteer work days to beautify the campus and are ever present at Pinecrest events serving wherever they are needed. Maggie, the oldest of their four children and a 2011 graduate, is currently serving the Church through the Regnum Christi co-worker program before attending college. A son, Cole, is in 10th grade; Anne Marie is in 5th, and Mia is in 1st grade. The Doxtaders attend St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Duluth.
MIKE DRAPEAU
Managing partner at Sales Benchmark Index, providing sales consulting services to leading organizations across the private and public sectors • Member of President’s Council • University of Virginia with a double major in Economics and English.
Mike and his wife Mary are the parents of seven children and were the host parents for Korean student Jin Kim for three years. They have been part of the Pinecrest family for eleven years and have four Pinecrest graduates Nick ‘07, John ‘08, Jin ‘09, and Daniel ‘10. During those years, Mike served as a varsity football coach. A daughter is attending Pinecrest this year as a freshman. The Drapeaus are members of St. Benedict Parish.
MICHAEL LYNCH
Retired, former founding member of Lee, Lynch & Ford P.C., an Atlanta Georgia Law firm specializing in International Transactions where Michael practiced for 23 years. • Owner of Lyco, Inc., Crown Vista, Inc., Wexford Properties, LLC, Connemera Properties, LLC and Nunnehi Investments,LLC, real estate development and holding companies. • Member, American Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia and Member of President’s Council. Michael received a B.B.A., concentrating in Finance, and a Juris Doctor from Emory University in Atlanta.
Michael and his wife, Joy, have two children attending Pinecrest, Michael in 6th grade, and Shannon in 4th grade. The Lynch family is starting their 7th year at Pinecrest and attends St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Cumming Georgia.
SUJEY VALDES
Founding partner and President of ServiceMaster Total Cleaning, an international disaster recovery company. • She is presently President of Insight Insurance Co. • Sujey Valdes attended Wheaton College undergraduate and graduate school with a major in Bible Theology and a concentration in Church History. She is presently pursuing another Bachelor’s in Commercial Photography.
Sujey and her husband, Dr. Jorge L. Valdes, have been supporters of Pinecrest Academy since 2005. Their two children, Estevan and Isabela have attended Pinecrest and are presently attending Cumbres Cozumel, in Cozumel, Mexico another Legionaries of Christ School.
MARY ZIGTEMA
Certified Public Accountant • Arthur Young & Company 1975-1982 • Finance Committee of the President’s Council • Currently, self-employed. Mary graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Accounting.
The Zigtema’s moved to Atlanta in 2004 and enrolled the youngest of their five children into Pinecrest Academy. An active volunteer mom, Mary and her husband Henry, saw their son Tom graduate from the school in 2008 and Steven in 2010.
REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE LEGION OF CHRIST FR. DAVID DALY, LC
Fr. David Daly, LC is a native of St. Louis, MO. After studying philosophy at the University of Dallas, he entered the novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in Cheshire, CT in 1990. He completed his studies in Rome, earning his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Gregorian University and licentiate degrees in moral theology and in philosophy, both from Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Atheneum.
Since his ordination on January 2, 2001, he has served as vice rector in various seminaries in Europe and the United States. He has also spent several years working in campus ministry to college students in New England. Currently he is working with the Regnum Christi Movement in Atlanta, GA.
REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE CONSECRATED WOMEN SARAH GAGNIER
Lower School Director of Campus Ministry at Holy Spirit Preparatory School
Ms. Gagnier was born in Torrington, Connecticut but raised in Seattle, Washington. She is the third of five children. This is her 10-year anniversary of living consecrated to God in the Regnum Christi Movement and her seventh year serving in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. She holds the following degrees: B.A. in Education (Elementary and Special Education) Western Washington University, Bellingham, Washington; B.A. in Education and Development, Anahuac University, Mexico City, Mexico; and is currently finishing a Diploma in Religious Sciences from Regina Apostolorum University, Rome, Italy.
