• All Pre-K applicants will be assessed.
• All Kindergarten through 8th grade applicants will be tested.
• All 4th - 12th grade applicants will be interviewed.
• All 6th through 12th grade applicants must take the SSAT. Complete information about the SSAT can be found at http://www.ssat.org/. Pinecrest Academy's school code, 5793, must be listed as a recipient of the test scores on your registration form.
• All parent interviews will be scheduled upon review of transcripts, student evaluation form(s), and upon completion of student testing and interview.

Pre-K3 and Pre-K4

• All applicants must be age three (3) and four (4) on or before September 1, respectively
• All applicants must be toilet-trained to be admitted to the program
• All applicants will be administered a social readiness assessment

Kindergarten and First Grade

• All applicants must be five (5) and six (6) on or before September 1, respectively
• Entrance testing and teacher observation for social readiness and maturity
• Official report cards, since entering kindergarten
• Student Evaluation form from current teacher
• Principal Evaluation form from current school principal

Second through Fifth Grade

• Entrance testing
• Student interview (4th-5th grade)
• Official transcript/report card, to include national achievement test results since kindergarten
• Student Evaluation form from current teacher
• Principal Evaluation form from current school principal

Sixth through Eighth Grade

• Entrance testing
• Student interview
• Official transcript/report cards, to include national achievement test results, since 5th grade
• Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT)
• Student Evaluation form(s) from current math and language arts teachers
• Principal Evaluation form from current school principal

Ninth through Twelfth Grade

• Student interview
• Official transcript/report cards, to include national achievement test results, since 5^th grade. 
• Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT).
• Student Evaluation form(s) from current math and language arts teachers
• Transcript Request-Administrator/Counselor Evaluation Form

Testing/Student Interview Dates for 2012-2013:

• First Wave: (met January 24, 2012 application deadline)
  • Kindergarten - 8th Grade - Friday, February 10, 2012
  • Pre-Kindergarten - Saturday, February 11, 2012
  • 4th-12th Grade Student Interviews - Friday, February 10, 2012
• Rolling Admissions: (application received after the January 24, 2012 deadline)
  • Testing times are assigned once all requested materials are received and fees are paid
  • Student interviews are scheduled once all testing is complete
