Thank you for your interest in Pinecrest Academy. As parents, you are the primary formators of your children, and we consider it a privilege to partner with you in their education. Pinecrest has been offering quality Catholic education to students since 1993 and for the fourth consecutive year our high school has been named one of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools in the Nation by the Catholic High School Honor Roll.
We welcome families of all cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds. We invite you to participate in our schools mission: to form Christian leaders who will transform society. Pinecrest Academy implements the Integral Formation method of education which seeks to educate the whole person. Students are admitted on the basis of academic testing, school records, personal interviews, and teacher recommendations.
Students develop a solid foundation based on character, faith, social responsibility, problem-solving, and critical thinking. They build confidence through athletics, public speaking, performing, and mentoring, and they learn to share through service to the community and each other. Pinecrest offers an excellent fine arts curriculum and a complete complement of middle school, varsity and recreational sports.
Pinecrest Academy provides the highest quality education and formation to our students, so that they will graduate as strong Christian leaders who have a positive influence on society. We are committed to teaching the whole child, which focuses on the heart, mind, and soul of our students, as they learn to love authentic Christian values and develop a sense of what is good, right, noble, just, and beautiful. Students are educated in gender-specific classrooms beginning in fourth grade allowing them to be challenged in an environment that best serves the learning styles of each gender.
The dedicated, motivated, and highly qualified teaching staff all meet state and SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) requirements and many have advanced degrees, including doctorates. Teachers serve as both mentors and role models.
It is our goal to provide as much information as possible to help you in this important decision; therefore I encourage you to come visit our school. There is no substitute for walking our campus, meeting our staff, and experiencing first-hand our students, families, and faculty. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a tour of our 68-acre campus and discover how your child can benefit from a Pinecrest Academy education, please send an email to
